The Impact of Strategic Agility on Strategic Success: A Field Study of Insurance Companies in Amanat Al Asima

This study aimed to identify the impact of strategic agility along with its dimensions – strategic sensitivity, speed of response, shared responsibility, and resource fluidity – on strategic success, which includes adaptation, survival, business growth, and effective implementation at insurance companies in Amanat Al Asima. To achieve the objectives of the study and test its hypotheses, the descriptive analytical method was adopted and the questionnaire was used to collect data. The study population consisted of (155) members in the administrative and supervisory positions in the said companies, represented by general managers, their deputies, department managers, and heads of sections. The complete census sampling method was used due to the small size of the study population. The data were entered and coded to the SPSS package. The study results revealed that insurance companies practice strategic agility of all its dimensions at a high level, and that strategic success of all its dimensions scored a high level. The results also showed that there is a statistically significant positive impact of the strategic agility on the strategic success among insurance companies. The study recommended insurance companies in Amanat Al Asima to pay more attention to practicing strategic agility for its positive impact on achieving strategic success.
