Abstract

The research aimed to identify the reality of pre-university education in the Republic of Yemen, as well as present a proposed conceptualization to benefit from artificial intelligence techniques and applications in improving pre-university education. The research used the descriptive and analytical approach, relying on local, Arab and international official reports, as well as local literature, studies and research that dealt with the reality of basic or secondary education, whether in terms of infrastructure, curriculum or student level. The constructivist approach was used to build the proposed conceptualization, and the results showed that the reality of pre-university education suffers from some shortcomings. The research also came up with a proposed conceptualization of how to benefit from AI technologies, including the vision, premises, foundations, objectives, components, as well as implementation mechanisms and obstacles.
